How my journey as a doula began.

I have always felt a deep understanding of healing and what it means to all of us, especially women. My call to birth work started in 2019 when I first found out I was pregnant…

I had planned on a home birth - In turn that meant hiring a birth doula and a midwife, I fell in love with what they offered as a team. They became parts of my spirit, guiding me, supporting me, and reminding me of my strength. My doula provided me with an unimaginable amount of comfort, ease, and connection.

In my eighth month, my son died in my womb. Not surprisingly, my doula was still there for me. Present, like a rock. Offering me support in the hardest moments I’ve ever experienced in my life. Throughout the birthing process, she was present for me physically and emotionally. For both birth and death. It was then that I realized how essential the role of a Doula was for myself and for all women. Both my midwife and doula were a leading light for me. I remained empowered and decided on a path dedicated to helping the women of this earth reconnect with the spiritual experience that is birth.
